Pay : Generally $50 per contact hour, plus differential for night shifts. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications. This position has been determined to be exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Work Location: On-site.

Summary:
The Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions will be made. Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and will be made semester-by-semester.
The position is responsible for teaching and supervising a clinical group of students at the clinical sites for the Department of Nursing (https://apptrkr.com/get_redirect.php?id=5634960&targetURL=https://johnsonbethel.uccs.edu/nursing-programs) . Specialties include Medical-Surgical, Pediatric (Skills lab/Simulation labs only), Maternal Child Care, Mental Health and Public Health.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
MSN
Active, non-encumbered Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) or Colorado RN license
Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in the area of nursing specialty
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous academic teaching experience
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to move. Employee is required to have long periods of standing and walking, moderate bending, and fine motor skills. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
