We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager. In this exciting role, you'll dive deep into financial and credit information, preparing detailed reports that drive our lending decisions. You'll be at the forefront of our underwriting process, ensuring every loan is backed by thorough analysis and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis:
Review and analyze financial and credit information, such as financial statements, tax returns and credit reports to determine creditworthiness of borrowers and guarantors. Determine the need for thorough investigation or additional information and contact appropriate sources for such information. Prepare a written summary of analysis for new and existing loan relationships, focusing on sufficiency of cash flow, collateral and other repayment sources. Assess overall strengths and weaknesses of credit relationships. Manage loan pipeline between underwriters and lenders to prioritize tasks and meet loan closing deadlines. Prepares and proofreads commercial loan documents to ensure accuracy of names, titles, entities, dates, and fees for new closings, loan renewals, and changes in existing loan terms. Commercial Loan Management:
Manage a comprehensive commercial loan underwriting and closing checklist, including documents for membership, underwriting, cash flow analysis, third-party reports, loan closing, booking, and onboarding. Create and monitor reports to track maturing loans and lines of credit to prevent compliance issues and disruption in service levels. Coordinate vendor engagement for third-party reports such as appraisals, environmental reports, and surveys. Compile and maintain construction loan records, review draw requests, manage construction budgets, and prepare draw packages for approval. Enter final loan information into the core system and ensure all necessary documentation is included in the loan package before closing. Administration and Servicing:
Manage payment streams in the core system to ensure correct and timely payments. Act as a liaison between the lender, underwriter, and member to gather financial documents and complete due diligence items Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. Experience: An ideal candidate will have 5-7 years' experience as a commercial loan officer, commercial portfolio manager, business financial analyst, or commercial loan processor. This includes credit analysis skills, knowledge of commercial title endorsements, and loan documentation requ Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial modeling and analysis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Technical Proficiency: Experience with financial software and tools, such as Excel, financial databases, and loan management systems. Other: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy and compliance. Pay Information:
The pay ranges represent the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus based on overall performance.
