HomeSafe Alliance is the single global household goods movement manager of over 300,000 Military Household Goods moves per year for USTRANSCOM and the U.S. Armed Forces, Department of Defense civilians, U.S. Coast Guard, and their families.

About the Role
HomeSafe Alliance is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of International, Household Goods Moving Services to drive optimization and improve customer satisfaction of international Household Goods Moving Experience.
Responsibilities:
Optimize the consolidation and routing of international military household goods shipments to and from the continental United States.
Deliver quality, on-time packing, shipping, and delivery of military customer household goods.
Implement LEAN tools and techniques for continuous improvement of HomeSafe logistic strategies, processes, and procedures.
Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) /SLAs performance metrics. Identify trends, determine root cause analysis, implement effective corrective action plans to ensure KPIs/SLA performance metrics are achieved.
Control costs, reduced claims, improve customer satisfaction, and create a positive and safe work environment for employee retention.
Optimize resources supporting International Military Household Goods shipments transportation operations.
Identify and develop business opportunities and partnerships that drive revenue growth, improved efficiencies, and quality service.
Develop and manage international subcontract partner companies’ performance and relationships.
Develop strategic relationships with ocean carriers, port agents, freight forwarders, moving companies to meet capacity scalability, quality of performance, and conformance with HomeSafe Standards.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Transportation / Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Master’s in Transportation Management, Supply Chain Management or MBA degree preferred.
10+ years of related International Household Goods Moving Services transportation and logistics industry experience.
3+ years of Director of International Operations of Household Goods Moving Services for Corporate, COD, Military markets.
Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements
Note : This position is fully remote / work from home. HomeSafe will supply appropriate equipment, employee provided high speed internet is required.
