Overview: This leadership role involves driving sales, fostering strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers, and guiding the sales team to achieve targets. As a primary face of Concepts, you will engage extensively with clients through office visits, meet-and-greets, project interviews, virtually, on the phone, and at industry events. Job Details Salary Competitive annual salary starting at $90,000 - $110,000, with a comprehensive sales incentive plan that offers the potential to significantly increase total annual earnings. Job Type Full-time. 8:00am - 5:00pm Mon -Fri with some flexibility & occasional needs after 5pm, typically known in advance. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Sales Strategy Development: Lead the creation and implementation of effective sales strategies to meet and exceed annual sales targets and team performance metrics, including revenue growth, customer retention, win ratio, and service standards of excellence. Customer Engagement: Act as a primary face of Concepts, developing deep relationships with existing and prospective clients to understand their business objectives and needs and maximize opportunities for profitable work. Represent Concepts in the CO chapter of Associated General Contractors (AGC) committees and councils. Customer Success and Retention: Develop and oversee customer success initiatives, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction pre and post-sale. Work to identify any issues or areas for improvement, proactively addressing concerns to promote long-term client retention. Sales Process Management: Oversee the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring a streamlined and effective approach Team Leadership: Collaborate with the VP of Sales to help oversee the day-to-day departmental operations, implement best practices to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and enhance team effectiveness. Potential for leading and managing the sales team in the future. Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify new opportunities and risks; Maintains up-to-date awareness of our competition in the marketplace, where Concepts fits with our customers, and where there is opportunity. Reporting: Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to the VP of Sales to inform strategic decisions. Collaboration: Work closely with the estimating and operations teams to align sales initiatives and activities with overall company and department goals. Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Director of Sales or similar leadership role, preferably some experience in the commercial Construction and Building Industry Ten (10) years' experience in business sales and customer s rvice, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth. Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent professional experience Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels and represent Concepts with professionalism. Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation. Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a sales team, High energy and passionate about the company vision. Embodies a commitment to excellence, teamwork, and is a self-driven, proactive learner Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
