Job Description:
Responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.
Holds ability to handle items (up to 45 lbs.) utilizing proper lifting techniques and material handling aids (e.g. pallet jacks, height adjustable carts, etc.) and may operate a forklift upon receipt of internal certification.
Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
Ability to work with Export Compliance on shipping requirements for international shipping.
Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
Knowledge of safe material handling practices and ability to maintain compliance with Harris specific Environment Health and Safety policy/procedure in regard to material handling.
Assist with cycle counts and inventory annually
Combination of manual and clerical warehousing duties are performed throughout the day
Receives incoming materials into the receiving bay and processes them in the Harris inventory system in accordance with Harris operating procedures, contractual, ISO, FAR and ITAR standards and requirements
Clerical duties with strict attention to detail, filing and retrieving information as required
Involvement in material planning and warehousing, is a good team player comfortable with flexing assignments based on workload and doing so with a positive and constructive attitude
Interface with both internal and external customers
Analyzing shipping & receiving documents for discrepancies and problems.
Performing manual receivers, inventory adjustments and other transactions as per procedures
Required ability to perform moderately strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, and working overhead
Must be able to lift over 25lbs
Must be able to utilize ladders on a daily basis

Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Experience working in a warehouse and/or production environment
Experience with shipping, receiving, cycle counts, and reconciliation
Experience with shipping and receiving environment
Experience with Inventory of Government furnished property and contractor acquired property
Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance
Preferred Additional Skills:
HAZMAT Certification
Knowledge of FAR requirements
Good written and verbal communication skills
Familiar with MS Office applications, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word
Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy
Experience with MRP and Agile/PDM software tools
Organizational skill
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $37,580 - $66,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
