Title:
RF Engineer
The KBR team in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a highly motivated engineer to join us in supporting our great nation, specifically on the Air Force Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (TENCAP) HOPE contract. The candidate will provide AF TENCAP with RF and DSP engineering support in areas of: electronic warfare, electronic protection, antenna design, signal processing, as we all general support for the development and fielding of various software and hardware systems.
Air Force TENCAP exploits National space, cyber and intelligence capabilities to deliver rapid, cost-dominant and innovative warfighting solutions across the full spectrum of Air Force and Joint military missions. AF TENCAP is a Congressionally mandated rapid acquisition organization supporting tactical and operational warfighters and serves as the Air Force executive agent for the Military Exploitation of Reconnaissance and Intelligence Technologies (MERIT) program. As the Air Force's leader for National-to-Tactical capability development, AF TENCAP collaborates with leading experts across the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, National Laboratories, industry, inter-agency, academia, and partner nations.

Specifically, the full lifecycle of wide-ranging software and hardware projects within AF TENCAP. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for learning, the drive to innovate and a humble attitude. Security Clearance:
Secret Qualified for TS/SCI
Required Experience and Education:
BS degree in Electrical Engineering
Required Skills:
Experience with RF modeling and simulation in DOD/IC projects
Experience with DSP and communication-channel modeling
Knowledge of RF/Antenna Theory and applications
Knowledge of EM spectrum/principles
Experience working in an RF lab environment with spectrum and network analyzers
Experience with programming MATLAB, Python, C programming, VHDL, Verilog, and FEKO and/or HFSS.
Experience with circuit design using a version of Spice
Experience with hardware design, integration, and testing
Experience with analog and digital modulation techniques
Experience with network protocols
A drive to learn and master new technologies
Desired Skills:
MS degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience in DOD or IC as a test analyst/engineer
Experience with basic information technology
Basic Compensation: $71,085 - $90,00
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
