Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity providing Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) supporting the US Space Force mission to defend National Security Interests in Space as an SDA Acquisition Squadron Administrator supporting a squadron of the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, Battlespace Awareness Acquisition Delta (USSF SSC/SZB).

The Battlespace Awareness (SDA) Acquisition Delta (USSF SSC/SZB) executes system acquisition, modernization, and sustainment for ground- and space-based SDA sensors and command and control (C2) systems. Activities include acquisition program management, system, and subsystem engineering, maintenance and supply support, and fielding. Odyssey Systems provides support to the Government in five areas: Product Support, Sustainment Engineering & Sustainment Management, Technical Order Management, Technical User Interface, and System Design, Engineering, and Integration. These tasks are executed laterally with USSF SSC/SZB depot and development contractors and with SDA stakeholders. This is a full-time position at 2424 Garden of the Gods Road and Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs, CO with an opportunity to telework up to 2 days per week at the discretion of the Government.

Responsibilities

Squadron Administrators operate with broad direction, applying a deep knowledge of administrative processes, procedures, tools and protocol to perform a robust range of administrative tasks, such as; maintaining executive schedules and communication, preparing and reviewing correspondence, tracking and reviewing military and civilian awards, evaluations, and personnel actions, overseeing the administrative operations of a large office or organization, and coordinating large events requiring substantial discretion and attention to protocol. As an SDA Acquisition Squadron Administrator, you will perform the full range of administrative support tasks, from basic receptionist and visitor control tasks to the preparation, coordination and publication of a wide variety of documents, graphics, presentations, spreadsheets, schedules, and other administrative products. The Administrator may be responsible to track and validate company or client technical or financial information, establish and maintain files, prepare reports and monitor deliverables, ensuring quality assurance in all products delivered. The Administrator may serve as liaison regarding administrative issues related to purchasing, personnel, facilities, and operations. The Administrator may manage supply and travel accounts and documentation. The work requires knowledge of administrative principles, policies, and procedures, and the application of a variety of automated and non-automated tools, forms and templates. Administrators must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a clear, concise and professional manner, exercising the decorum required of a professional work environment. Duties include, but are no Manage the Portfolio Lead's dynamic calendar and travel schedule, interfacing with senior officers/executives from multiple military commands and intelligence agencies, and facilitating communication between the Division and Portfolio leadershi and team Schedule and prioritize meetings/events to maximize the Portfolio Lead's time, ensure realistic scheduling, identify meeting participants, subject matter experts (SMEs) and required materials to thoroughly address meeting topics Develop, organize, and setup meetings to include weekly staff meetings, financial and program reviews, execution reviews, and other meetings as needed Support the Portfolio Lead and staff to communicate program issues or concerns, and to request and advocate for executive decisions, intervention, and support Arrange travel plans for the Portfolio lead using the Defense Travel System, to find and book optimal flights, lodging, and a transportation to meet mission requirements Assist with preparation of travel vouchers in the Defense Travel System following trips and perform records management and gather/develop all necessary paperwork/documentation
