Aerotek Crate Assembler in Columbia Heights, Minnesota

Job Title: Crate Assembler : $19 to $20 per hour: Columbia Heights, MN

Job Description

As a Crate Assembler, you will be responsible for building crates for large machinery using various tools and equipment. This role requires flexibility, as the tasks may vary daily, and cross-training is provided. Perfect attendance is essential for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Build crates for large machinery

  • Use nail gun and staple gun

  • Operate various saws including table saws and band saws

  • Measure materials using tape measures

  • Work as part of a team and independently

  • Maintain flexibility to handle different tasks as needed

Essential Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience in construction, framing, or crate building

  • Experience with hand tools and power tools, including pneumatic tools

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Strong team working abilities and independence

  • Excellent attendance record

  • Willingness to work overtime

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Saw operating experience

  • Carpentry experience

  • Familiarity with tape measures, table saws, and miter saws

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
