What youll do:
Design and develop
construction documents with
focus on and experience
managing design projects
Perform and review structural
engineering calculations,
including coordination with
requirements for other
disciplines and detailing of
project-specific conditions
Perform field observation visits
to observe and document
structural conditions
Develop scopes, schedules, and
budgets for assigned projects
Take ownership of tasks with
dependable performance
Mentor and support the
development of junior staff
Focus on client satisfaction and
project delivery with attention
to detail and deadlines

What you need:
Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
Experience: Minimum 5+ years relevant design experience
Licensure: Professional Engineer licensure and ability to add additional State
licensure
Knowledge: Solid understanding of industry best practices, techniques, and
standards
Structural Software: Proficiency with Revit and familiarity with structural
analysis software (Risa, Enercalc, STAAD, Mathcad)
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsive: Communicates openly, proactively, and promptly
Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ideals: Professional, respectful, with a strong work ethic
Can Do Attitude: Positively engages with challenges and facilitates problem
solving
What you can add:
More Education: Masters Degree in Civil Engineering
More Licensure: Current Illinois Structural Engineer or ability to attain within 6
months
