Job Description

Grace is seeking a Data Integrity and Governance Leader to join our Supply Chain Center of Excellence team! This role reports to the Senior Director, Supply Chain Center of Excellence located at our Columbia, MD office. We offer a hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office, and 2 days from home). In addition, in order to meet stakeholders located in other Grace office, the ability to travel up to 10% of the time is required.

The Director of Data Integrity and Governance will lead the organization's efforts in establishing and maintaining high standards of data governance and integrity. This position is responsible for setting up an enterprise-wide data governance framework and operationalizing Master Data Management and other data policies to ensure consistency, quality, and security of enterprise data. The role demands collaboration with Data Owners, IT, Business and Functional partners to align data strategies with business objectives, driving insights and outcomes. The Director will also be accountable for the master data governance roadmap, enhancing data asset quality, complying with regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic departmental goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, communicate, and enhance the Data Integrity & Governance vision and strategy.

  • Define and implement master data management principles, policies, and frameworks.

  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to create a roadmap and investment strategy for future data management and analytics needs.

  • Lead the establishment of an enterprise data governance strategy, setting priorities for information capabilities development.

  • Craft and promote a vision that treats master data as a crucial business asset, ensuring consistency and a "single source of truth" across units.

  • Create and enforce standards, policies, and procedures to uphold a comprehensive master data governance approach.

  • Form and guide a data governance council to lead, support, and ensure adherence to governance policies.

  • Build and manage teams to integrate data governance practices company-wide and establish a metrics framework to monitor data quality and governance efficacy.

Required Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience, coupled with 5+ years of SAP Data Management expertise, including strong familiarity with SAP MDG.

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in guiding cross-functional teams and managing extensive programs, with proven skills in integrating complex processes and crafting strategic metrics across various organizational levels.

  • Proficient in developing and executing Data Governance Frameworks, setting up data management policies, and leading Data Governance Councils and Stewardship networks, alongside experience in managing data-related resolution processes and performance metrics.

  • Exceptional business acumen and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing change across senior business lines.

  • Proficient in SAP ecosystem and master data requirements, alongside a strong grasp of complex data structures and systems.

  • Extensive experience in various data and analytics domains, including data governance, architecture, and quality management.

  • Skilled in managing and analyzing data in cloud and hybrid environments, with a clear understanding of various data access and analytics frameworks.

  • In-depth knowledge of Enterprise B2B processes and the information needs arising from them.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, MS or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) in data management.

  • Experience in process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.

  • Prior experience in a supply chain, logistics, or operations role within a manufacturing, distribution, or retail environment.
