SAIC Property Management and Warehouse Operations in COLUMBIA, Maryland

Description

SAIC is seeking a Property Management and Warehouse Operations to support the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDEVCOM), Engineering and Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate, Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) Branch.

This position is on-site in Aberdeen, MD.

In support of the Information Analysis Center Multiple Award Contract (IAC MAC) and Task Order (TO), SAIC is seeking multiple qualified and cleared candidates. We are currently assembling our team of experienced professionals who have in-depth experience in providing expertise to support research, development, assessments, adaption, transformation, testing, integration, demonstrations, transition, fielding, sustainment, and enhancement of designated information and/or intelligence software systems.

Job Duties:

  • Support the warehouse team and logistics team lead by controlling the efficient flow of goods, services and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements

  • May also plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production

  • Develops raw material requirements, scheduling requirements from engineering specifications, production schedules, and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production

  • Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes. Logistics functions encompass maintenance, supply, transportation and logistics plans

  • Inherently included as logistics tasks are program formulation, policy planning, coordination, inspection, integrated logistics processes, joint planning logistics, acquisition and wholesale logistics, product support, asset visibility, material management and supervision

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors and nine (9) years or more of related experience; four (4) years' experience can be accepted in lieu of degree

Required Skills:

  • Strong background in material management and shipping

  • Experience with G-Army and ASTS

  • Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 60 lbs alone

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Must be a self-starter and able to work with limited supervision

Desired Experience:

  • Valid Commercial Drivers License

  • Certified Fork Lift Operator

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance is required; TS/SCI Security Clearance is required to maintain employment
