EquipmentShare is Hiring a Receptionist

EquipmentShare is searching for a Receptionist for our corporate office in Columbia, MO, to support our team as the department continues to grow.

EquipmentShare is seeking a Receptionist to help support the daily functions of the front desk and assist with the building and executive duties as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Must maintain the Receptionist area between the hours of 7am-6pm (coverage duties shared with 2nd and 3rd Receptionist)

  • Providing a positive first impression when greeting clients, guests and visitors, determines the nature of the visit and announces visitors to the appropriate personnel

  • Support the Facility/Security/HR team through assigned administrative tasks and projects

  • Coordinate the meeting calendars for conference rooms

  • Coordinate daily meeting room set-up

  • Receives and signs for incoming shipments and sorts incoming mail and delivers and or notifies the correct departments

  • Coordinates employee area coffee and snacks

  • Support our EquipmentShare team

  • Assist with other projects as needed

    Required Skills/Abilities:

  • At least 2-5 years in a receptionist position or similar role

  • A passion for helping others and problem-solving● Quick responder to requests and willingness to go the extra mile in service

  • Strong ability to multitask and manage time quickly and effectively

  • Able to communicate with accuracy, calmness and professionalism

  • Comfortable working with and learning new technology

  • Self-starter and self-motivator with a strong, positive work ethic that contributes to the vision of the team

  • Must possess a professional and friendly demeanor

  • Attention to detail in typing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

  • Other duties as assigned

    Education and Experience:

  • Customer service experience preferred but not required

    Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time

  • Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures/environments
