Description We are providing an opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in Columbia, South Carolina. The role primarily involves maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and providing assistance in various accounting functions. This position is in the Financial Services industry and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Assist in the preparation of bank reconciliations and financial reports
• Utilize accounting software systems for data entry and record keeping
• Collaborate with the team to improve and streamline accounting processes
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
• Use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for financial management and reporting
• Handle customer inquiries related to financial transactions and accounts
• Assist in the preparation and processing of financial documents using CaseWare
• Utilize ADP Financial Services tools for payroll processing and management
• Leverage SAP for efficient management of accounting operations. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with CaseWare
• Ability to utilize Concur
• Knowledge in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Understanding of basic Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations
• Familiarity with SAP software
