Performs technical and clerical functions in one or more sections of the laboratory. Performs training and support to new staff. Supports the Laboratory Manager with quality control initiatives.
Minimum Education
X Associates Degree Required X Required
X Bachelors in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry or related science X Preferred
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Minimum Work Experience
Experience in Clinical Laboratory settings X Required
Minimum one (1) year experience in phlebotomy x Preferred
Phlebotomist Program Completion Certificate x Preferred
National Certification in Phlebotomy x Preferred
