JOB DESCRIPTION:

Operate robotics machines to form and shape metal into various shapes and sizes and impart desired strength, hardness or other characteristics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for tagging all material and separating by lot number.

Performing quality checks, both visual and dimensional at appropriate intervals for both hot press and cold press

Use of hand tools and power tools

Responsible for mechanical and quality troubleshooting for both hot press and cold press

Tearing down and building die cassettes for new and old product numbers for both hot press and cold press

Use of drawings and schematics for both hot press and cold press

Filling shot blast machines with media when necessary

Taking out old shot blast media when necessary

Cleaning out lubrication tanks when necessary

Hand sorting parts and stacking material when needed

Robotics

Warm and Cold Forging Experience a plus

Troubleshooting abilities, Gauging.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND ABILITIES:

Familiarity with automation and robotics

Mechanically inclined

Good communication skills

Attention to detail

Good work ethic

Willingness to learn and cross train

Cleanliness and organizational skills

Self-motivated

High School Diploma or equivalent
