We are looking for a talented Electronic Engineering Technician to join our team for our location in Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Test Systems and Simulation Hardware Harness Technician of Hardware-in-the-loop test benches supporting hardware DVP&R and controls software testing.
Construct Test Bench Harnesses supporting ACCEPTS, ICON, LUIS, BSTS, DVPR Loop Back, DVPR EMI/EMC, DVPR FATS, and more test systems
Update and Maintain Harness revisions and documentation
Create and maintain CSE inventory tracker
Create and maintain Harness Mappings for Harness Validation Test System
Read and Follow Electronics Wiring Diagrams
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
A regionally applicable Certification (e.g. US Department of Labor) or two year Associates Degree from an accredited college program in a relevant field of study.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Ability to work with wire cutting, stripping, and crimping hand tools and machinery
Read and write technical documentation and procedures
Detail Oriented
Communicates effectively
Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experience preferred
Wiring harness construction and support
Test and Measurement Equipment experience (DMM, scope, etc.) experience preferred
Ability to work 1st Shift: M - F, 8 AM - 5 PM (Flexible)
Pay starting at $31.50/HR or higher, based on experience level.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
