DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

Manages key product line lifecycles. Understands market and industry trends. Leads the marketing initiatives for new product introduction and existing product change introduction.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Strategic Vision : Develop and implement long-term product line strategies and annual operating plans, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Financial Stewardship : Provide accurate product line budget requirements, contributing to the overall business unit’s financial planning.

  • Market Leadership : Lead the development and execution of product introduction plans, ensuring successful market entry and lifecycle management.

  • Marketing Excellence : Craft and manage all aspects of the marketing mix, from product launch to lifecycle promotions, ensuring market competitiveness.

  • Pricing Strategy : Oversee pricing activities throughout the product lifecycle, optimizing profitability and market positioning.

  • Brand Management : Ensure effective implementation of the product branding strategy, enhancing brand recognition and customer engagement.

  • Customer Focus : Drive customer satisfaction by addressing ongoing issues and improving product offerings based on feedback and market research.

  • Team Leadership : Coach and motivate Associate Product Managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

  • Maximizing Profitability - Develops strategies that demonstrate the use of all marketing and sales levers (e.g. pricing strategies, promotions, volume based incentives, and value, feature, or benefit selling) to optimize profit.

  • Positioning For Target Segments - Aggregates appropriate inputs (e.g. customer perceptions, competitor positioning, alternative product capabilities) and determining where we need or want to compete for business within the target market segment.

  • Product Life Cycle Management - Identifies and executes changes to the product portfolio in response to evolving market dynamics and customer needs

  • Translating Relevant Market Data - Collects and categorizes customer voices and market information by leveraging appropriate research tools and techniques; analyzes research findings to identify opportunities to deliver customer solutions.

  • Values differences - Recognizing the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Marketing, Sales, technical or related subject required.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

  • Knowledge of or experience with Service Tools

  • Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies

Experience:

  • Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide services as liaison between the product and technical team - work closely with diagnostics engineers, dev team, business team, Service Engineers to understand the request, identify dependencies, work with dependent team to plan the work and make sure app requirements are met and aligned with release plan.

  • Lead cross-functional effort for gathering and analyzing business requirements for the new requests & solution

  • Assist with or conduct solution assessment and validation to ensure that functional and technical specifications meet the identified business needs - writing API test cases, testing API in staging as well as production, coordinate with infrastructure team if any issues or concerns during internal testing or production issues.

  • Perform application Walkthroughs with the SMEs for requirements approval and baseline business Architecture

  • Familiarity with Agile process is a plus

  • Relevant software development exp.

  • Cloud based APIs experience

  • Past product owner or business analyst experience in software development life cycle

  • Knowledge of Agile Methodology
