Acadia Healthcare Administrative Clerk - (3) 12-hour shifts - (7:00am-7:00pm) in Columbus, Ohio

Description

The Administrative Clerk services Mount Carmel Behavioral Health through daily actions of customer service including limited to greeting patients, vendors and visitors into the facility, while supplementing/assisting the Admissions department in various functions. Mount Carmel Behavioral Health, a joint partnership between Acadia Healthcare and Mount Carmel Health Systems, is an 80-bed acute treatment center specializing in treating adult men and women who have been experiencing a wide range of mental or behavioral health challenges.

Functions include but not limited to:

  • Perform general clerical duties assigned in accordance with the office procedures of the facility.

  • Answer and transfer telephone calls or take messages.

  • Sort and deliver incoming mail and send outgoing mail.

  • Schedule appointments and receive visitors.

  • Provide general information to staff, clients or the public.

  • Type, format or edit routine memos or other reports. Copy, file and update paper and electronic documents.

  • Prepare and process bills and other office documents. Collect information and perform data entry.

Educational/Licensure/Skills Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Two (2) years' clerical experience required, preferably in healthcare setting.
