Job Summary

Provides expertise on continuous process improvement strategies, organizational redesign, change management projects, and performance measures for moderately complex business process engagements. Responsible for collaborating with the business, and project team to develop process or system solutions that meet the needs of the business and provide value. Analyzes current process requirements, tracks key performance indicators and solidifies best practices to produce the best end-to-end process.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as liaison with Business and Technology staff to build business relationships, document business case, and manage and drive change within the organization.

  • Functional Expert for one to two modules within assigned process area. Provides expertise to business process reengineering teams by mapping “as is” and “to be” business processes, eliciting, documenting, and validating requirements and their drivers, and business process metrics. Ensures solutions are cost effective.

  • Facilitates requirements and design sessions with both the business community and CIT. Participates in determining what business requirements fit/don’t fit within the software.

  • Communicates business priorities to the project team accordingly, in order to drive effective business solutions. Clearly communicates with process stakeholders, business partners and technology to ensure timely and accurate project delivery

  • Translates requirements into design documentation based upon requirements and processes, in alignment with project documentation, including but not limited to, workflows and requirements documents.

  • Assists with executing test plans including test cases/scripts/scenarios in support of the testing objectives. Assists with developing training materials, schedules training and facilitates, as needed.

  • Creates, provides guidance on and reviews end user process and procedure documentation.

  • Supports the functional end-users after project deployment, and may participate in continuous process improvement initiatives, new requirements development and enhance projects.

  • Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Refers to policies and practices for guidance.

  • May provide guidance to non-exempt staff.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Management Information

  • Two years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior ERP or process consulting role

  • Familiar with one or more PeopleSoft ERP modules

  • Must have a background which would not preclude a security clearance granted
