The 1st and 2nd shift Training Lead will work with various departments to identify training requirements and institutes plans for training new and existing employees. The Training Lead has familiarity with instructional methods, coaching and skill development. They use these skills to support the rest of the team and ensure all employees are working efficiently and to company standards.

  1.  Coordinates training with Training Supervisor and Operations.
  2.  Meets and greets new associates and partners with Operations on the placement of associates (first day).
  3.  Provides a facility tour to new associates.
  4.  Assesses training needs for associates.
  5.  Observe and provides training feedback to associates on the progress of their training.
  6.  Train new associates, as well as retrain and cross-train current associates, on all aspects of their role and processes.
  7.  Completes training and evaluation paperwork.
  8.  Delivers various training programs such as GMP training.
  9.  Conducts training Audits/Process audits.
  10.  Job breakdown sheet audit/maintenance /updating.
  11.  Coaches hourly trainers -- "train the trainer" sessions.
  12.  Supports in conducting BBSO and LM observations.
  13.  Partner with CI on various initiatives and projects.
  14.  Reports status of training programs.
  15.  Maintain training records.
  16.  Coordinates delivery of training.
  17.  Manage training timetable.
  18.  Understand company goals and work to create an environment for success.
  19.  Support company safety, quality, and productivity initiatives.
  20.  Comply with all other procedures outlined in the Operations & Procedure Manual.
  21.  Supports in conducting MHE hands-on certification.
  22.  Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required

  •  HS Diploma
  •  Preferred 3+ years Forklift experience
  •  Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  •  Basic knowledge of process improvement procedures and best practices.  
  •  Ability to identify gaps in training
  •  Ability to collaborate with other departments
  •  Good planning and organizational skills.  Ability to prioritize and execute projects and training initiatives

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is:

  •  General production floor environment and general office environment
  •  Work is performed inside and outside the property with exposure to inclement weather (heat/cold) and unpredictable crisis situations.
  •  Continuously required to sit, type, and perform repetitive wrist motion;
  •  Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, or reach.
