Description
We are seeking a Credit Analyst Intermediate (3-6 years) to join our client's team based in Westerville, Ohio. This position falls within the finance industry and plays a crucial role in underwriting credit facilities secured by marketable securities. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and is part of a hybrid workplace model, providing the flexibility of working from the office and home.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and underwrite credit facilities secured by marketable securities.
• Partner with internal stakeholders throughout the credit request lifecycle and the ongoing management of the portfolio.
• Prepare the analysis of a client before underwriting, assessing collateral, and overall preparation for grading and pricing the loan.
• Analyze client data across multiple systems and conduct a preliminary review of credit.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status.
• Review loan documentation for accuracy and ensure compliance with federal and local regulations.
• Interact effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients to facilitate swift credit approvals and expedite the delivery of loan documentation.
• Manage multiple tasks and prioritize work to meet the needs of the business.
• Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge and skills related to financial institutions, securities, mutual funds, derivatives, fixed income, and wealth management.
Requirements • Must have intermediate experience (3-6 years) as a Credit Analyst.
• Demonstrated ability in Training, Compliance, Quality Review, and Supervising.
• Proficiency in Finance, Pricing, Credit, Financial Notes, Stakeholders management.
• Experience in Loan Administration, Loan Origination, Underwriting, and Collateral Management.
• Knowledgeable in Equities, Analytical Skills, Securities, Mutual Funds, Derivatives, and Fixed Income.
• Experience in Wealth Management and Credit Transaction.
• Familiarity with Swift and Financial Institutions.
• Proficiency in using Zoom for virtual meetings and communication.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
• Must have the legal right to work in the location of employment.
