BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Garnishment Payroll Associate opportunity at Columbus, OH Position Title: Garnishment Payroll Associate Location: Columbus, OH 43240/Hybrid Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: 6 months of contract and possibility that this could go FTE Job Type: Full-time - Contract Pay Range: $20.00/Hour - $21.00/Hour Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Responsibilities: Performs accounting functions which require knowledge of accounts payable and receivable as well as bank reconciliation functions. Answers customer inquiries. Researches problems and/or complaints. Creates and edits spreadsheets. Ability to act as a lead Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills. * Previous garnishment experience is #1 preferred skill/background * Garnishment background preferable * Working in ADP portal * Working through files for various payroll cycles * Verifying and signing * Getting garnishments out in mail every day * Education Requirement- no * If comes from a payroll general background /payroll processing = they are open to it but again garnishment experience preferred.... * Not looking for someone who was just doing time reconciliation * An AP Background of some sort would be acceptable * Volume = 40-50 letters processing during on-cycle > 1 file can take a day Benefits: BCforward offers all eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to major medical, HSA, dental, vision, employer-provided group life, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and 401k.
