Responsibilities Cleans and services patient care areas, offices, lobbies, bathrooms or other areas as assigned. Demonstrates knowledge of 10 Step Cleaning Process and appropriate chemical use to meet department standards. Performs routine cleaning and coordinates with management to address and resolve facility maintenance, service issues and other concerns. Practices proper methods of Infection Control in conjunction with cleaning procedures. Maintains proper use and knowledge of PPE and door precautions. Maintains closet, housekeeping cart and cleaning equipment in clean, orderly and good working condition. Maintains department's standards of practice as evidenced by quality control inspections and customer feedback. Note: Regular, reliable, and consistent attendance is an essential job function. Employees are expected to perform work as scheduled. Please see the physical requirements for this position listed below. Qualifications KNOWLEDGE , SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Education: High School graduate or equivalent, required. Skills: Demonstrate high degree of proficiency in the 10 Step Cleaning Process. Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Demonstrates ability to prioritize and multi-task. Displays positive customer service skills and promotes a team atmosphere Experience: Previous housekeeping experience, preferred Minimum Physical Requirements: Weight requirement - Must be able to lift 40 lbs. independently. Must be able to see, stand on feet for 8 hours, hear, walk, talk, and care of oneself with little or no difficulty.
