Join our team in the vibrant Short North area as a Human Resources Recruiter for our behavioral healthcare organization!  This full-time role offers a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. requiring your presence on site to fully engage with our dynamic team.

As a Human Resources Recruiter, you will spearhead the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and facilitating hiring prerequisites.  Your responsibilities will also extend to certain administrative duties within the department.  We are seeking an individual who is proactive, organized and can handle multiple tasks while maintaining the strictest of confidentiality - essential qualities for success in this role.

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Recruitment:

    • Collaborate with Human Resources Director to understand staffing needs and develop innovative and effective recruitment strategies.
    • Source, screen and interview candidates to assess their qualifications and fit for the organization.
    • Coordinate and conduct job fairs, campus recruitment and other talent acquisition events.
    • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle from posting positions to extending offers.
  2. Electronic Onboarding:

    • Facilitate the electronic onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all required documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure new hires have the necessary equipment, access and resources on their first day.
    • Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new employees with company policies, culture and expectations.
  3. HR Administrative Assistance:

    • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including but not limited to, scheduling interviews, maintaining candidate databases and handling confidential HR information.
    • Prepare and distribute HR-related communications, such as announcements, policies, and updates.
    • May provide assistance with the development and maintenance of HR documentation, reports and records.
  4. Communication:

    • Regularly communicate with Human Resources Director to provide updates on recruitment activities, candidate status and project objectives.
    • Act as a point of contact for new hires to address inquiries and ensure a positive onboarding experience.
    • Collaborate with department personnel to foster a positive employer brand.

Qualifications:

High School Graduate, or equivalent.

Demonstrated human resources experience focusing on candidate assessment through various interview formats.

Profiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and electronic onboarding platforms preferred.

Exceptional communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal abilities.
