Description Inside Sales Industrial Waste Representative's primary for our landfill operations is to develop and maintain thorough knowledge of Rumpke's available services, lines of business, pricing, etc. to handle inside sales support for the Industrial Waste Specialists within the Region and have responsibility for receiving and processing calls from industrial waste prospects and customers. This person will assist in developing and maintaining relationships with industrial clients focusing on customer satisfaction, quality of revenue and selling within customer base. The hours and level of responsibility may vary by location. Responsibilities of Position: Support Industrial Waste Specialists in selling special waste disposal and collection services to industrial accounts, transporters, consultants, and emergency response companies. Provide consultative services to both new and existing customers in the areas of special waste disposal services, profiling waste streams accurately and completely, handling recertifications / approvals while securing necessary analytical. Develop and maintain business relationships with customers through periodic personal follow up, proactive customer service, prompt attention and resolution to concerns or issues and timely contract updates. Conducts post-sale administrative work to ensure product/service implementation is successful (scheduling, providing labels, letters of destruction, manifesting, coordination of security witness loads, notification to scale house of incoming loads, etc.). Help facilitate and resolve any manifesting related issues (print or pre-print manifests for large jobs, order when needed) and resolve issues (i.e. wrong, no manifest, copies). Work with Industrial Waste Sales Specialist with handling special billing requests, P.O.'s, billing issues, reporting, etc. Process paperwork, complete credit applications, process credit payments, complete short orders, etc. Provide market intelligence (competition, pricing, segment recommendations). Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads through local publications, business and telephone directories, consulting business associates, observations in the territory area, industry ads, trade shows, Internet leads, Web sites, and other sources. Execute the sales and overall goals of the respective Region as directed by management. Assist with mailing campaigns, when applicable, for budgeted sales campaigns - direct mail that are agreed to be beneficial to your target market prospects / customers. Other duties as assigned. Skills & Abilities Needed for Position: Possess verbal & written communication skills with impact. Must be organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task. Possess proven analytical/problem solving solutions for the customer and the company Proficient computer skills (i.e. Windows and Microsoft applications; Outlook, excel, share point applications) a plus. Must possess excellent customer service and data entry skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to meet deadlines and complete assignments within stated time frames. Must present and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor as well as part of a team. Highly motivated self-starter Perform tasks in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies. Additional Working Conditions/Aspects: Must be available for 24-hour emergency calls. Legally eligible to work in the United States. Valid driver's license (if applicable). Must successfully complete pre-employment testing. Must be able to read and speak the English language.
