Marketing Operations Transformation Manager Job Description Summary
The Marketing Operations Transformation Manager will lead the re-imagination of the marketing operating model to increase throughput while reducing friction and execution timelines. This person will be responsible for optimizing processes, integrating technology solutions, ensuring efficient workflow management and prioritization, guiding the process for Marketing colleagues along the way. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and operations, with the ability to streamline execution and enhance overall marketing effectiveness.

Summary:
The Marketing Operations Transformation Manager is the primary liaison and subject matter expert for the marketing engagement with process re-engineering consultants. They will leverage sound process design methodology, project governance, and partnership with key stakeholders (Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Product Mgt, Data and Analytics) to ensure processes are compliant, effective, and efficient. This person demonstrates technical/domain expertise with strong leadership and communication skills. To be successful, the Marketing Operations Leader will be a change agent and collaborative problem solver, who balances goals and risks to create efficiencies for marketing and its partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Process Optimization:
Enable execution of new process delivered by Genpact and add new ones required to operate most efficiently
Revamp operating procedures and controls to suit new future-state operating model
Transform business case and prioritization processes for all corporate marketing to optimize capacity and budget
Develop framework for operations and execution KPI reporting and monitoring
Brand transformation operational management: Responsible for inventory of all updates (i.e. call center, signage, web)
Workflow Management:
Build ring fence squads that enable complexity-based execution paths through centralized resource pools
Lead squads through daily scrums to enable agile delivery in 2-week sprints
Institute partner BOW prioritization cadence across segments
Manage new vendor and tech onboarding (includes 3PRM and PSRA), simplifying and streamlining process for marketing colleagues
Technology Integration: Evolve and execute Martech enhancement roadmap, including:
The automation of manual marketing execution controls
Workfront automation/optimization
Regtech vendor integration
Identify and lead new Martech implementations that incorporate AI/automate processes
Change Management and Training:
Document, communicate, and enforce Marketing process documents, including workflows, RACI, and SIPOC charts
Launch and manage new Marketing colleague onboarding and training function
Budget:
Revamp and streamline budget and forecast process that is currently managed across many teams and systems
Launch budget and vendor productivity task force
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to enhance marketing operations.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
A minimum of 5 years of marketing operations and/or project management experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong organizational, analytical, technical and project planning and/or management skills
Banking and/or Financial Services Industry experience
Risk Management experience
Demonstrated ability to lead change across people, processes, and technology
Excellent communication skills; written, oral and presentation
Experience working effectively within a matrix, mission oriented and diverse business environment
Ability to collaborate with internal cross-departmental teams to drive solutions and manage executive level relationships
Skilled with using reports and dashboards in Tableau
Proficient with Workfront or other workflow management tools
Continuous Improvement or Six Sigma certification or similar experience a plus
