Robert Half Segment Risk Specialist: IV (Lead) in Columbus, Ohio

Description Job Description Summary: As the Technology Risk Assessment Lead, you will spearhead operational and risk strategy programs within the IT segment. Your role involves executing periodic risk assessments, evaluating control effectiveness, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to address issues and deliver timely risk updates to segment leadership. This position demands a strong grasp of technology risk management, proactive problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.

Detailed Description: Conduct risk assessments of IT systems, engaging with project/segment teams for high-priority projects. Serve as the voice of risk, communicating security and control requirements to project teams. Partner with stakeholders to ensure compliance with security requirements throughout the development cycle. Collaborate with the Technology Segment Risk Manager to maintain relationships with key stakeholders and oversee the pre-deployment risk assurance program. Deliver periodic risk updates to segment leadership teams through monthly operational reviews. Work with Audit/Corporate IT Risk/Segment CIO Leadership teams to address issues and develop action plans. Participate in Technology Risk Committee and other oversight groups as assigned. Maintain the universe of risk assessments across Cyber and Enterprise IT, ensuring alignment with regulatory guidance and audit calendars. Coordinate with Delivery and Risk Partners to track progress and ensure appropriate coverage of risk assessment domains. Requirements Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Minimum 5 years of experience in a Technology Risk position, with a focus on technology, cybersecurity, or infrastructure environments. Preferred Qualifications: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. Strong research and analytical skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with SDLC processes and project management. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CRISC are preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
