Insight Global Senior Human Resources Manager in Columbus, Ohio

Job Description

We're hiring for a Senior HR Manager in Columbus, OH. The right candidate will be able to create high level road maps, while also remaining highly tactical and diving into the weeds when necessary. You will lead HR initiatives, guide complex employee relations conversations and help business leaders with their HR goals. You will oversee a team of 5-7 individuals, ranging from HR generalists to HR mangers. You will help own some of the day to day HR minutia - running point on compliance, processes, communication to leadership and more. You will act as a senior advisor to leadership teams across multiple offices (domestic and international) on human resources related matters, trends, policies and procedures. Project manage key HR initiatives from concept to project planning, resource delegation, execution, and communication/rollout strategies. Remain up to speed on compensation bands, salary strategy and planning. Conduct exit interviews and analyze quarterly data, to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience. Design and facilitate presentations to executive suite and/or company wide audience on topics from analytics, HR programs, strategic initiatives and more. Partner with the Talent Manager to help successfully drive career development and performance programming. Assist with open enrollment, annual compensation review and benchmarking, compliance training, career development, and total rewards analysis and program updates.

Skills and Requirements

10+ years' relevant HR industry experience, with at least 3+ years' of people management experience.

Demonstrated strategic thinking and passion for innovative HR solutions.

Ability to lead employee relations and investigation experience.

Ability to deliver results and operate independently; thrive in ambiguity.

Ability to prioritize and manage time, acknowledging that often your schedule may be upended to respond to a time sensitive matter or request.

Engaging and effective presentation, negotiation, conflict management and problem-solving skills.

Experience working with HRIS systems, ATS systems, LMS systems.

Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines.

HR certifications - i.e. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, etc. Experience leading and mentoring a team of HR Generalists.

Background in Architecture, Engineering, Construction and/or related professional services environment.

Experience working with Deltek Vision, Cornerstone and/or Jobvite.

Experience implementing a new HR Management or HRIS system.

Experience working at a start-up, experience wearing multiple hats.

Experience working with global employees, knowledge of global rules and regulations - specifically within the UK and China. null
