DLZ Corporation currently has an outstanding opportunity for a motivated Staff Accountant at our corporate headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. This position is perfect for an entry-level, newly graduated, or up-and-coming accounting professional looking to learn all aspects of the function and grow into a larger role. Diverse candidates are encouraged to apply. Duties & Responsibilities: Review and reconcile general ledger accounts. Bank reconciliation and review. Time-sheet processing and administration. Accounts receivable and accounts payable processing. Project maintenance and accounting. Work with project managers to prepare and process contract billings. Possess aptitude to act as a positive representative of the company and its core values. Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance with the Health and Safety Plan. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting 1 - 5 years relevant Accounting experience Project accounting and client invoicing experience desired Construction industry / project costing background a plus Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
