JPMorgan Chase Workplace Technology Solutions Product Manager in Columbus, Ohio

Workplace Technology Solutions (WTS) designs, deploys, and supports end user technology for over 300,000 seats globally. This includes everything "from the street to the desk," inclusive of network hardware and structured cabling as well as the computers, peripherals, and conferencing equipment that our employees use to deliver value to our firm's clients and customers. We work closely with our partners in other Global Technology product lines and Global Real Estate to define the complete user experience for our employee and visitor populations, and then develop solutions to improve the employee and visitor experience. After all, a successful workplace experience is a function of the furniture, hardware, software, physical environment, and workplace amenities.

As a Product Manager in Workplace Technology Solutions, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Job responsibilities

  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers

  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap

  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition

  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability

  • Establishes and maintains deep relationships with partners across the employee user segments, Global Real Estate, Global Technology product teams, and other impacted technology teams across JPMorgan Chase

  • Develops a deep understanding of user journeys across all workplace technology interactions and assigned user segments, and then leads teams across the firm to develop solutions via a coordinated roadmap and backlog.

  • Leads cross-functional teams through the workplace technology change management process to ensure workplace standards updates are executed properly and meet user needs.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area

  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics

  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management

  • Deep knowledge of workplace technology standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies

  • Experience with process modelling techniques (e.g., value stream mapping, experience mapping)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to senior management

  • Practical experience in managing agile, cross-functional teams, often through influence

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization

  • Proven experience of building strong, cohesive partnerships with the business, operations, technology, and other key stakeholders
