We are the largest Department in the County, with over 80 staff. Our agency works with Colusa County residents in administering social services programs including Cal Works, Cal-Fresh, Medi-Cal, In-home Supportive Services (IHSS), Adult and Childrens Services, Public Health and Housing. [*What's this Job All About?* This supervisory position oversees all social workers assigned to the child welfare program and covers all services components, emergency response, family reunification, family maintenance and permanent plan. The position also provides general oversight of ancillary programs such as Resource Family Approval, Interstate Compact on the Placement Children, Commercially Sexually Exploited Children and the Indian Child Welfare Act.
[At the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), we work a 37.5 full-time work week, with the option of a flex-schedule.Also,the County is currently exploring remote work options of 1-2 days per week (depending on position) upon completion of probation period. This allows our staff to find a work-life balance that best fits their needs.
