Northeast Washington Alliance Counseling Services Fiscal Assistant in Colville, Washington
JOB DUTIES: Completion of monthly payroll and benefits processing while meeting all required deadlines. Daily understanding of upcoming timelines to allow maximum productivity. Ability to reconcile, prepare, and communicate payroll processing, as well as completing software updates in multiple programs. Respectfully assist staff and supervisors as needed with payroll and benefits. Responsible for employee benefits updates/changes administration and reconciliation in payroll software and all other related software programs. Will be required to coordinate/assist with the annual benefit open enrollment. Responsible for the weekly and monthly company accounts receivable deposits. Help with accounts payable or purchasing requirements as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate of Arts Degree in Business, Accounting or related field required; total of two years of accounting experience may be substituted for education. Two years' experience in basic bookkeeping and accounting principles strongly preferred. Ability to work independently and to grasp complex methodologies. Computer Literacy and experience in Microsoft software (Excel, Word; Outlook) required. Ability to learn and use of multiple specialized computer databases. Professional, mature, adaptable, able to handle stress, and multi-task Ability to work independently, maintain confidential information, and protect confidential records. Must have driver's license, vehicle insurance, & able to use own vehicle if agency vehicle is not available. Abstract of driving record for past three years required. Satisfactory criminal history backgrounds check results are a condition of employment.
