Health and Safety Coordinator
Job Description
The EHS Coordinator is responsible for directing and coordinating EHS compliance initiatives through utilization of functional team structures in support of the overriding priority that all injuries are preventable. Will be developing and implementing effective EHS programs, processes, and procedures to ensure health, safety, and environmental risks are eliminated and that governmental regulations, reports, and permits, as well as compliance with plant and corporate policies and procedures, are maintained. Additionally, this role is responsible for the Maintenance Department functions and personnel. Foster cooperative relationships with local, state, and federal authorities.
Hard Skills
Strong oral and written language proficiency in English
Conversational verbal Spanish language skills
3+ years of experience in EHS management in a manufacturing environment
Basic understanding of industrial ergonomic principles
Broad/extensive knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and DOT rules and regulations
Computer proficiency, Microsoft Office
Schedule/Pay
Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30p
Pay:$28-30/hr
