Cardinal Health Manager, Clinical Products Support & Education in Commercial, India

Position Summary

The Manager, Clinical Products Support & Education role leads Cardinal Health’s Educational Imperatives for Channel Partnerships Asia. The role is responsible for all elements of clinical education, portfolio segmentation & driving effective market shaping activities together with their commercial counterparts. The individual will work with the Commercial Teams for the Focused Growth Portfolios; working with dedicated or multi-line distributor sales team and the Cardinal Health Sales Team to develop relationships with customers, and create new business networks and connectivity, while identifying and evaluating new opportunities.

The role will report directly to the Channel Partnership Asia Director located in Singapore and be a critical member of Channel Partnerships Asia Team.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Clinical Education for Current & Future Customers in the Focused Growth Categories – Compression, Nutritional Delivery etc. in Strategic & Key Distributor Markets - Thailand, India, Vietnam, Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong

  • Ensure alignment of messaging across all partners/HCPs

  • Organize & spearhead educational activities, i.e. Monthly Trainings for salespeople, hospital in-service workshops and peer-to-peer events

  • Identify & target KOLs in Strategic Markets to drive Clinical Engagement to support business development

  • Understand & map reimbursement strategy for listing focused growth products eg. Compression, Nutritional Delivery across strategic markets

  • Develop standardized clinical materials to drive specialty targeting eg. in-service workshop decks, sales talk tracks etc.

  • Continuously improve product knowledge and selling related skills, to provide better value add to customers that differentiates Cardinal from competitors

  • Understand the competitive landscape and be the on-the-ground market intelligence of Cardinal Health eg. collect various customer data reports

  • Share best practices within the organization and participate in organizational activities

  • Develop, maintain and strengthen long term favorable customer relationships with various stakeholders in important accounts together with Channel Partners and Sales Teams

  • Be the “face of the company” for customers by providing regular communication, addressing concerns, registering complaints, and leveraging opportunities to deliver customer satisfaction

  • Work in compliant and ethical manner; always adhere to company policies & local regulations

  • Team work to achieve individual and team’s goals – work with internal and external partners – to be able to serve customers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Healthcare background

  • 3-7 years clinical experience in Medical Consumables and Devices Industry or professional experience in OT Hospital Setting. Direct experience with Surgeons & Operating Theatre Nurses preferred.

  • Good verbal and written English communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong team player and able to work independently

  • Excellent communication skills with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties

  • Keen understanding of engaging Distributor Markets & Distributor Sales Teams

  • Results Oriented Environment familiar at driving educational programs in cross departmental & complex public sector environment

  • Leverage on good product and clinical skills to gain In Market Insights

  • Ability to learn quickly and work in dynamic work environment independently while taking ownership & work with ambiguity

  • Embraces out-of-the-box thinking in engaging and challenging teams when looking at challenges and opportunities

  • Ability to think strategically and yet is hands-on, operationally
