The Physician Assistant will perform exams, diagnose, and treat patients with the guidance of the company doctor. The PA will promote good health practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Assess patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.
Order tests to ascertain the nature and extent of illnesses and injuries.
Prescribe medications to remedy medical problems.
Provide patient education and counseling.
Stitch wounds and set bones.
Promote good health practices.
This job is safety sensitive for medical marijuana purposes.
All other tasks as assigned.
Education/Skill Requirements :
Board Certified or Current PA-C license for the state of Arkansas.
Graduate of a Physician Assistant Program.
This position requires strong organizational skills.
Patience, problem-solving skills, and strong communication ability.
Travel is required in this position.
Physical Demands :
Ability to continuously sit, stand, or walk.
Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift frequently.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
