ManpowerGroup Casting Operator in Conway, South Carolina
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Casting Operator to join their team. As a Casting Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the continuous casting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety mindset, demonstrated mechanical aptitude, and basic computer skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Casting Operator
Location: Conway, SC
Pay Range: 15
What's the Job?
Set up, operate, and adjust/tune casting and auxiliary equipment.
Input setup, quality, and casting data into the computer system.
Take samples to the QA laboratory, evaluate quality information, and make casting adjustments while maintaining continuous casting operation.
Use a crane and a forklift to remove newly-wound spools from the winder and transport them to cooling racks.
Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance using various power and hand tools.

Ability to read and understand measurements and directions.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
Basic computer skills: ability to enter, retrieve, and evaluate data.
High school graduate or equivalent; prior industrial/mechanical experience preferred, but will train.
