[Receives request for quote from regional sales managers, dealers, engineers of record and our customers. Calculates required refrigeration loads based on quantity, type and model of the refrigerated display cases and size of the walk-in cooler / freezers. Utilize internal software to capture customer specifications, select and configure products for quotations and order entry. Selects compressor type, size and quantity to satisfy the refrigerant load and suction temperature based on refrigerant used and ambient design conditions. Selects walk in cooler / freezer evaporator size, quantity and type based on the refrigeration load and the walk-in cooler / freezer usage. Selects condenser type, size and quantity to remove the total heat of rejection from the refrigeration system. Demand shape customer requirements to promote natural refrigerants and high-volume products. Selects, configures, and quote custom equipment that is associated with our refrigeration systems. These products include specialized electrical control panels, fluid pump systems, etc. Selects conventional refrigeration condensing units for smaller applications. Completes equipment quotations and order entry when we receive the customer purchase order. Acts as a project manager during the manufacturing cycle of the product. Makes any required equipment revisions due to customer changes.

**[MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

[Employer requires a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of work experience in refrigeration design.

• 3 years of experience with refrigeration cycle and components used for supermarket refrigeration systems;
• 3 years of experience working in an environment related to custom engineered equipment;
• 2 years of experience with reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, plumbing and refrigeration construction documents; and
• 2 years of experience with Microsoft excel with the ability to generate custom spreadsheets and pivot tables.
