Your New Role…

As a Key Account Manager (KAM) within Warner Bros. Discovery’s Ad Sales Department, you will play a key role in driving the success of our advertising and sponsorship portfolio across all platforms. Your main responsibility in our Ad Sales department is selling ad sales solutions to your named client portfolio. This includes spot, BRANDCARE and digital solutions. You will be responsible for managing and expanding a significant portfolio of existing clients while proactively identifying and cultivating new business opportunities. Main measurement of your success is your own annual sales budget. The job description places high demands on activity, and you spend the majority of your time meeting and communicating with customers and agencies. You work responsibly and independently with great personal integrity towards your own budget and other set KPIs.

Your Role Accountabilities…

Reaching your goals and succeeding in your role otherwise requires:

  • Overseeing a named client portfolio

  • Meeting sales targets (spot, digital and BRANDcare revenue goals) and other KPIs like goals on meeting frequency

  • Building, developing and maintaining relationships to different stakeholders in your portfolio, and contributing to the strengthening of our position among clients

  • Making and executing short- and long-term plans for your advertisers

  • Prepare and execute effective client meetings, achieve satisfying negotiating results and make sure campaigns are booked correctly and on time

  • Participate in relationship building activities, such as customer events and networking activities with clients, advertising agencies etc.

Qualifications & Experience…

  • Demonstratable results of achieving (and even going over) your sales goals.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of prior experience from media sales thus knowing the industry.

  • Commercial education on bachelor’s or master’s degree.

  • Experience with digital advertising sales will be an advantage but not a demand.

  • Deep understanding of the dynamics between advertisers and media agencies.

  • Strong communication, numeracy and negotiation skills.

  • Strong at building relations and thriving in a dynamic environment where most of the workday is spent on visiting customers.

  • Strong at multitasking and able to analyze and prioritize things to make sure you’re always keeping an overview.

  • Being a team player that likes being around various kinds of people and who knows that reaching goals, whether individual or team, requires teamwork.

  • Having a positive and outgoing attitude with a high level of energy, proactivity, flexibility and a natural winning mentality.

  • English language skills, both orally and in writing, are at a level where you can communicate with your foreign colleagues and clients mainly in the Nordic region.
