We are a team of service experts who go the extra mile to ensure peak performance for your Plumbing, Air Conditioning, Electrical.
Accounts Payable Specialist
Knowledge of QuickBooks Software.
Must have a working knowledge of computer operation. Data entry skills.
Must be detail oriented, but also be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Post vendor's bills. Keep track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders and statements.
Processes AP invoices and verifies purchase orders are accurate vendors by scheduling checks and ACH payments and ensuring these are received in a timely manner.
Prepares all remittance information to be mailed with checks or BillPay
AP reports, reconciles credit cards, and prepares petty cash reports.
Ensures all the necessary information is accurate for vendors that are subject to 1099 reporting and generate 1099 forms.
Ensures all subcontractors contracts and certificates of insurance are up to date.
Assist the HR manager when needed.
The requirements for this position are as follows:
The knowledge and skill needed to perform the above duties to a high level of satisfaction.
A minimum of five (5) years performing the duties of an Accounts Payable Specialist
Knowledge of the home service industry preferred.
Must be willing to participate in continuing education.
Must have a high degree of ability with programs such as QuickBooks, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Must be able to read, write, and speak English with a clear speaking voice.
Must understand complex financial data and documents.
A BS or BA in Accounting or Business Administration at minimum
