Robert Half Account Manager in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania

Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Account Manager in the manufacturing industry, located in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. This role is crucial in establishing and maintaining relationships with customers, providing technical support, and handling sales orders and quotations.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain relationships with both existing and new customers

• Provide technical support and product advice to customers

• Prepare and handle sales orders and quotations

• Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, fax, and e-mail, and ensure information is accurately entered into the company databases

• Adhere to company standards to maintain and enhance quality results, propose improved processes, and address and track issues

• Prepare quotations in line with the company policy and based on the sales strategy and information gathered from customers or partners

• Take ownership of new and different requests to achieve department and organization goals and add value to job accomplishments

• Suggest related and new items to customers by explaining their technical features, in compliance with the company's ethical policy

• Stay updated on changes, new products, and developments in the company and the industries it supports

• Communicate effectively with Operations, CAD, Shipping, Sales (outside), Finance, and Management teams, providing customer updates, strategy, and weekly/monthly reports in a timely manner

• Contribute to team effort by achieving related results as required

• Identify new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails. Requirements • Proven experience in the Manufacturing industry.

• Prior work experience as an Account Manager.

• Proficiency in Inside Sales.

• Ability to handle both Inbound and Outbound Calls.

• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to build rapport with clients effectively.

• Proficient in Office software and CRM software.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Capable of multitasking and handling multiple client accounts.

• Degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field is preferred.

• Ability to travel as needed for client meetings.

• Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed sales targets.
