Robert Half Logistics Coordinator in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator in CORAOPOLIS, Pennsylvania. As a key part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and professional service to both our internal and external contacts within the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently manage and close bills of lading
• Ensure all necessary documents are printed in a timely manner
• Provide the warehouse with necessary loading documents
• Perform export clearance duties as required
• Communicate effectively with customer service group to handle any exceptions found in freight documents or physical cargo receipt
• Update milestones in a timely manner
• Contact customers professionally to advise shipment status or to obtain shipment information when necessary
• Assist with daily operations of the import/export departments to meet customer requirements
• Ensure all necessary document copies are in proper sequence in the file
• Assist in ensuring that payable and receivable documents are completed accurately and forwarded within time constraints
• Trace shipment through transit points up to final destination and advise customer service as needed
• Maintain the highest level of data quality and integrity by processing shipment accurately
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management Requirements • Proficiency in business systems
• Experience with Cargowise software
• Knowledge and experience in CRM tools
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Demonstrated ability in using ERP Solutions
• Experience with About Time software
• Proficiency in billing functions
• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures
