DESCRIPTION - Universal Banker Position Summary:

Provides excellent customer service by building enduring relationships, selling, communicating, and referring products to meet customer needs while maintaining efficient and accurate transaction processing. Responsible for the performance of, but not limited to, the below listed duties: Main Duties and Responsibilities: Greets and offers to assist customers and potential new customers as they enter the branch utilizing Bank Service Standards. Answers incoming phone calls and assist customer as needed. Accepts and processes deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments ensuring accurate posting. Assist customer with processing transactions - such as cashing checks and selling cashier checks. Balances cash drawer daily. Open and process new accounts including Checking, Savings, and Certificate of Deposits. Identify and offer or refer cross-selling opportunities. Remain current on all policy, regulatory and procedural changes. Assist loan officer with various duties related to initiating, processing, and closing loans. Work to establish rapport with customer in order to become their primary financial consultant and assist customers in reaching their financial goals. Remain knowledgeable of all bank products and services and be able to communicate to customers about features and benefits. Be aware of competition and be prepared to compare bank products and services with competitors. Assist management in whatever duties he/she deems necessary for the bank to perform most efficiently. Participate in training and cross training employees. Complies with all bank and personnel policies and procedures including but not limited to policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act. Complete periodic training provided and/or required by PFB including but not limited to BSA training within required time frames assigned. Other duties as assigned. Job Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent Minimum of two years Teller experience Customerservice experience preferred Relevant computer skills Job Competencies: Self-driven, self-motivated Willingness to work flexible hours Willingness to learn and explore other opportunities Ability to strategically problem solve Ability to self-direct Organizational skills Accuracy and attention to details
