Role Purpose

As a process engineer in our solar manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for overseeing part of the process to produce high-quality solar products. You will play a key role in optimizing parameters, enhancing equipment performance, and ensuring consistent quality while adhering to safety and efficiency standards. Your expertise in technology will contribute to the advancement of our solar manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Optimize parameters, such as blade speed, feed rate, and coolant flow, to maximize throughput, minimize material loss, and improve quality.

Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, increase yield, and reduce production costs while maintaining product specifications.

Manage and maintain product equipment, including diamond wire saws and abrasive slurry systems, ensuring proper operation, calibration, and preventive maintenance.

Troubleshoot equipment issues, diagnose mechanical or process-related problems, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain production continuity.

Establish and enforce quality control measures to ensure consistency and reliability of the product, including dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and edge quality.

Conduct inspections and quality audits, analyzing defects, deviations, and non-conformities to identify root causes and implement corrective measures.

Monitor process parameters and performance metrics in real-time, utilizing data acquisition systems and monitoring tools to track slicing efficiency, yield, and quality indicators.

Analyze process data, trends, and variability to identify opportunities for process optimization, yield improvement, and defect reduction, implementing data-driven solutions to enhance process robustness.

Lead technology transfer activities for new processes or equipment, collaborating with R&D teams to validate process scalability, optimize parameters, and ensure successful integration into production.
