Description

We are offering a role for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Corona, California. This role involves processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. It also entails monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Responsibilities:

• Generate customer invoices on a monthly basis

• Maintain up-to-date accounts receivable records

• Monitor customer accounts to ensure adherence to payment terms and pursue overdue accounts

• Verify invoices for appropriate documentation before payment

• Monitor incoming payments and ensure they are applied correctly

• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger with the general ledger

• Resolve discrepancies between customer payments and invoices

• Handle customer inquiries regarding bills or payments

• Assist with month-end closing activities such as preparing journal entries

• Develop reports related to accounts receivable activity

• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues or disputes

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to accounts receivable activities

• Ensure accuracy of all accounts receivable activities

• Investigate and resolve customer queries and disputes

• Prepare, review, and analyze aging reports to identify trends and recommend solutions.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Check Processing

• Data Entry Skills

• Ability to handle Discrepancies

• Proficiency in NetSuite

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to prepare Journal Entries
