Position Overview:
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a vital role in managing our accounts payable processes. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining vendor accounts, and supporting our financial operations. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process checks requests and expense reports regularly, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices to facilitate timely payments.
Perform monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Maintain and manage many client accounts while adhering to company standards.
Conduct data entry associated with accounts payable with a high degree of precision.
Review and reconcile discrepancies in invoices to resolve issues promptly.
Audit and process corporate credit card bills, ensuring proper documentation.
Address vendor inquiries efficiently and professionally.
Organize and maintain financial records and supporting documentation.
Assist with monthly reconciliation of corporate credit cards and other financial accounts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma required; an associate degree in accounting is preferred.
1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
