Job Title: Oil and Gas Laboratory Technician
Job Description
3rd party testing on gasoline, diesel, and crude oil.
Performs numerous chemical and physical tests based on American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) methods or accepted industry standards.
Records data on appropriate data sheets and reports data to LIMS system.
Responsible for maintaining quality records, control charts, and lab supply inventory.
Responsible for complying with safety, quality and housekeeping requirements.
Participates in cross training as needed.
Skills
At least 1 year of experience working with Oil, gas, chemicals, or wet chemistry.
At least 1 year of experience as a laboratory technician.
Ability to work shift and stand for 8 hour shifts
