JOB OVERVIEW
MartinFederal is currently seeking a Senior Network Administrator in Corpus Christi, TX. This role will directly support Technology Support Services (ITSS) III Contract in Corpus Christi, Texas supporting CCAD G6. The successful candidate should have a thorough knowledge of network architecture, design, implementation, and support. The candidate must be capable of working in both a team environment on enterprise projects and be capable of working independently to resolve technical issues.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee the environments from a design, solutions and technical operations perspective, ensuring that the network design and infrastructure is optimized to support the DOD customer key requirements including technical and information security requirements
- Provides advice to the Cyber Security team related to network integration (e.g., Availability, performance, stability)
- Responsible for the full engineering of network integration including deriving system- level requirements from architectural guidelines and project objectives and developing detailed designs with supporting implementation
- Responsible for responding to request for Network Changes and requirements based on mission requirements and providing technical support during customer collaborations.
- Responsible for ensuring the integrity and availability of network infrastructure in order to provide maximum performance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years or more of experience or a master's degree and 3 years or more of experience. 4 years of additional experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
- Security+ Certification
- CCNA Certification
- Proficient with Cisco IOS and NX-OS, Aruba hardware including routers, switches, wireless LAN controllers, load balancers and firewalls.
- Maintain network infrastructure to include Palo Alto firewalls, switches, and proxy servers.
- Updates and maintains ACAS scanners; prepare and submit PPS firewall requests
- Experienced with configuring and troubleshooting routing protocols.
- Proficient with IP networking design and operational concepts including subnetting, tunneling, QoS using LAN and WAN connectivity media
- Familiarity with IPSEC/IKE, SSH and PKI
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
- General office environment.
- The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. Some walking, standing, bending, reaching, and carrying of light items such as papers and books.
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment.
