Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Facility Maintenance Worker to join our team at Brinson Auto Group. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring that our dealerships facilities are safe, clean, and well-maintained, providing a welcoming environment for our customers and staff.
Specific Job-Related Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all dealership areas, including the showroom, service bays, and customer lounges.
Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
Maintain outdoor spaces, including landscaping, snow/ice removal, and parking lot upkeep.
Assist with furniture assembly, equipment installation, and general handyman tasks as needed.
Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, tools, and other maintenance materials.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
Collaborate with management to schedule larger repair or renovation projects.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures at all times.
General Company Related Duties and Responsibilities
- Report to work within acceptable time frames and company standards.
- Maintain appropriate degree of professionalism towards customers and coworkers.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Bilingual Preferred.
- Must be able to lift items up to 50- 75 lbs.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and computers.
- Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Current, valid drivers license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
Working Conditions
The employee will work indoors and outdoors.
