Research Foundation of SUNY Cortland Deputy Title IX Coordinator in Cortland, New York

Deputy Title IX Coordinator (Staff Associate, SL4) SUNY Cortland $64,000-$70,000 (Depending on Experience)

Reporting to the Title IX Coordinator, the Deputy Title IX Coordinator is responsible for performing day-to-day responsibilities associated with the Universitys Title IX investigations and training with a particular emphasis on investigating allegations of sexual assault, sexual harassment, relationship violence, and stalking allegations against students. This position will assist with provision of trainings and presentations for the campus community and assist with administrative reporting related to federal, state, and SUNY reporting.

The Deputy Title IX Coordinator will work closely with the staff of the Student Conduct Office. This position involves close interactions with individuals who have experienced physical and/or emotional trauma.

Qualifications: A bachelors degree is required, as well as; experience effectively dealing with sensitive and complex issues; experience in the development and delivery of training; and commitment to diversity and evidence of success in working with individuals with diverse backgrounds.

Preference will be given to applicants with a masters degree; investigative experience in such areas as student conduct, education law, equal opportunity/affirmative action, human resources, or other related fields; professional experience conducting investigations preferred; investigation experience in a college setting highly preferred.; training in trauma-informed investigation techniques; Title IX related training or certification through a nationally recognized organization; and/or, experience working with college students and the student conduct process.
