Cortland Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Infection Preventionist in Cortland, New York
Cortland Park is searching for an infection preventionist to join our team!
Requirements:
Have primary professional training in nursing, medical technology, epidemiology, or related field
Possess qualified education or certification
Communicate orally in writing with residents, families, co-workers and the public.
Must be able to pass physical examination upon offer of employment.
Must be approved to work through the Criminal Background Check Program.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and be able to walk around the unit.
Duties:
Responsible for the Infection Control process facility wide and preparing/submitting reports quarterly at Pharmacy/Infection Control Meetings.
Submits monthly Infection Control Reports to the Administrator and Directorr of Nursing.
Responsible for the Quality Improvement Plan for the facility Infection Control process.
Submits quarterly Infection Control Reports to thhe Quality Improvement Council.
